Rapid Deployment Methodology (RDM)
and “Best Practices”

OBJECTIVE

The objective of the Rapid Selection and Deployment Methodology (RSDM) is to assist The Client with the selection and implementation of a new integrated manufacturing and financial application software package (e.g., Enterprise Resource Planning ("ERP") application).  For example, this will address the following key business needs as identified by The Client management:

1. Integrated financial and manufacturing functions
2. Effective shop floor data collection and real-time information
3. Accurate product costing
4. Effective scheduling of resources (people, machines)
5. Effective shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes
6. Proper tracking of detailed financial information
7. Automated financial statement reporting
8. Multi-site and multi-lingual application capabilities

The selected ERP application will also include the typical core manufacturing and financial functions needed for an automotive industry manufacturing environment, which will be defined by company personnel during the selection process.
